Dear Mom,
I have rather neglected my correspondence lately tho’ I did get around to write Wanda and Judy each a three page letter Sunday. I’ll try to write as much to you one of these days I hope.

I’ve never gotten the large picture of the section. I guess the photographer didn’t have the material necessary to make them. I have a couple rolls of film being developed in London now if they ever get around to it. They’ve been there for three weeks now and they didn’t have them ready last weekend.
My watch came in a registered letter today. I never expected to get it back, so it was a welcome surprise. I was intending to ask you to get me another one if this one had taken much longer.

I received your letter saying some boxes were on the way. I’ll be watching for them. They will probably take a couple more weeks to get here. You’ve probably heard of Art Smith and I know dad has met him. The last time I saw him was the night I took Alice Edwards and the Gerow girl and picked Art up to make it a party. We had the Lincoln that night is the reason Art knows the car.
