Dear Mom and All,
I received your box this evening, thanks a lot. I really appreciated those C.H.S. papers, they do a good job of covering the school news. I’m going to write to them when I get around to it (if I ever do). That was a good idea to drop in a few cig. papers. I was running low on them though I took about 30 packages of them with me. I still like to roll my own.
I just wrote a note to Wanda and sent her a couple of money orders for $150. I told her that if she didn’t need it give it to Jay for the bond drive. She said she’d drawn all except $100 from the bank and got bonds with it. I got a letter from Barb F. quite a while ago and answered it right away, she should have gotten it by now.
I should drop a few lines to Red Bryant as I promised. I may do it this weekend if I don’t go over to see Joe which I intend to if we get off early enough tomorrow afternoon.
Tell Jay I got a letter from Peg Edwards and she said I’d have to go some to keep up with him when I get back. Hmm, tie him up I guess.
Love to all, Wayne
