Dear Wanda,
I’m making an attempt to get caught up on correspondence again.
I was off yesterday so I went to Windsor to see the castle. I couldn’t get close to it, but it can be seen from a long way off. It’s built on a hill at the edge of the city. It’s a large building made of stone with several stone towers and surrounded with a stone wall. It has a big green lawn and is the biggest building I’ve ever seen. In the neighboring village is Eton College. Sons of Earls, Duke, etc. if requested at birth, can attend to learn to be the nobility of England. They wear swallow tail coats and top hats all the time. So long,
Joe.
