Dear Mom and All,

Well we’re here at last, tho where it’s hard to say. We are somewhere near Fort Bragg as that is where our mail comes to.

We’ve all seen pictures of the beautiful south but darned if I’ve seen anything beautiful yet with the exception of Goldsboro N.C. where we spent the weekend. That’s a nice town and the people were very good to all the boys (~15,000 of them).

I guess we don’t get paid until the 15th but there’s no place to spend it anyhow so that’s ok.
